The theme was “The Ice Queen and her court” at Alexander McQueen’s presentation of his Fall 2011 collection during Paris’ Fashion Week on March 8th.
Heritage silhouettes with trains of silk organza and undulating threads of tulle proved designer Sarah Burton able to handle the legacy that she has attained.
One piece was so bold as to feature a gown with a body collaged from broken china that erupted into a giant heap of organza.
