Earlier this evening, Michael Kors wrapped up his 30th Anniversary Celebration at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Paris, France.
Showcasing a career that spans over three decades, Michael Kors was right to choose Paris as the location for his celebration, considering the designer’s flawless, committed nature that has placed him at the very top of this industry. Not only has Kors spent seven years as the Creative Director of Celine in Paris, but he has now chosen the site for his Flagship store–the 7,000 square foot retail site to be the largest Michael Kors’ store in the world and the fashion house’s first freestanding retail location–that will open this month.
Earlier this evening, Kors hosted a press conference at the store, which was followed by the intimate dinner celebration, hosted by Charles H. Rivkin, U.S. Ambassador to France, and his wife, Ms. Susan M. Tolson. Celebrity guests such as Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Giovanna Battaglia and Vanessa Getty, among many others, arrived at the event sporting none other than the Michael Kors label. The exquisite affair marks yet another milestone in Kors’ outstanding contributions to the fashion industry, as it appropriately emphasized the internationally expansive nature of the Michael Kors label.
