On February 9th at her New York showroom, Lorena Sarbu presented her Fall 2011 couture collection and left the room in awe of her designs. Her debut to Fashion Week, Sarbu held an intimate cocktail party as she unveiled her designs in front of press, stylists, buyers and VIP guests. With the help of stylist Ann Caruso, who accessorized each of the models with jewels by Danni Jo, the night proved to be a success.
Inspired by the glamour of the Roaring 20’s, her pieces feature elaborate beading and art deco-inspired patterns. The collection features styles encrusted with Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers and the finest French laces. The color palette features shades of amethyst, emerald green, deep slate blues, cappuccino and metallic tones.
