Shopbop, the leading women’s online fashion boutique worldwide, is branching out to launch its very first print campaign for Spring 2011! The basis for the print campaign, Shopbop Feels Good, perfectly accentuates the essence of what it means to be a Shopbop girl, with her chic composure and exuberance.
The boutique has collaborated with Mutt Industries, a new collective of writers, designers, filmmakers, artists and strategists, based in Portland, Oregon to help capture the essence and feel of Shopbob in the print campaign as effortlessly as it does in its online presentation.
A New York City residence was chosen for the location of the shoot, as this city has been labeled the basis for most of Shopbob’s inspiration. Model Bekah Jenkins will be featured in the March and April ads, and model Le Call will be featured in the May ads.
The campaign, shot by photographer Jason Nocito and styled by Kate Ciepluch, Shopbob Fashion Director, and Morgan Wendleborn, Shopbob Style Director, will launch in March issues of Elle, InStyle, Lucky and Vogue. The imagery of the campaign will continue to change with each month.
